It was my first audience with the Kwean.

She smiled at me a knowing smile that said you are my subordinate.

I told her the tale of her future and she listened intently.

The future was full of wealth, happiness, and of course children to be the heirs of the kingdom.

Of course, I told her what she wanted to see and hear.

Only I knew, as I chuckled to myself on the way home, that her children would be her undoing.

The kingdom was really mine.
