Everyone remembers Fess Parker as the Davy Crockett of Disney. I remember him as Dan'l Boone. Also the guy who really wanted to build on Cabrillo Boulevard. He eventually constructed the hotel and resort but, on a much smaller scale than he wanted to.
Anywho, I was always in a conundrum when having to choose between watching Daniel Boone or Batman , yes the show with Adam West and Burt Ward. You see they were on at the the same time on a different bat channel. This was before any sort of home recording devices were available. If a show was on a network and you missed it, then you had to listen to the recap from a friend the next day. Not as much fun as watching it personally. Of course Summer reruns were the answer.
